The 6500 series of products from Jamex are the most versatile vending products available today.
The 6500 series coin-op has a rich array of features. All of the models in this series support a broad range of coin acceptance (including nickels, dimes, quarters, and $1 coins), a minimum of $34 in self-replenishing change capacity, an unmatched two year warranty, and either a PC or copier specific interface solution, included out of the box.
The most popular model of the copier controller series is the 6557 which takes the features above and adds the ability to accept paper notes. This is where the true customization of the product begins. Other feature upgrades include:
- Integrated stored-value card readers
- An internal receipt printer
- Increased change capacity
- Simultaneous PC and copier specific connectivity
- Enhanced vending capability to track and charge for print, scan, & fax
This enhanced vending capability is the new Vend It All!™ solution from Jamex, allowing equipment owners to vend and recover costs for all major functions of a MFP including copy, print, scan, & fax. This feature is currently exclusive to the 6500 series of products.
Series 6500 Vending Solutions
Model 6557
- Accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, $1 coins
- Accepts $1, $5, $10, $20 bills
- Self-replenishing change capacity ranging from $34 to over $100
- Charges different prices for color vs monochrome copies
- Charges different prices for large vs small paper
- Optional international coin acceptors available for most major world currencies
- Can be configured to connect to a copier (6557) or a PC (6557-JPC)

A coin-only version of the 6557
Model 6557-70
All the features of the 6557 plus:
- An integrated stored-value card reader
- Charges different prices for cash vs card copies
- Adds value to cards via self-service right at the copier or PC
Model 6557-JPC-I/O
All the features of the 6557 plus:
- Simultaneous connections to a PC and a copier
- Allows software to access funds available on the vending system
- In conjunction with print management software, charges for print and copy from one vending system

Series 4300 Vending Solutions
Models 4300N, 4300D, 4300Q
The Jamex Model 4300 is a single coin, single copy vending system. It can be configured prior to shipping to accept either nickels, dimes or quarters and to accept either one, two, or three coins in order to facilitate a vend.
