New Currency

The Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing has announced that a new $5 note will begin circulation on March 13, 2008. Information about the new note can be seen at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's web site: www.moneyfactory.gov/newmoney/

All Jamex vending systems shipped after January 1, 2008 are equipped to accept this new note. The equipment you place now will be ready for the change. For vending systems shipped prior to 2008 there are established upgrade paths in place. Contact Jamex in order to learn about upgrading your existing vending systems to accept these new $5 notes.
